I just placed a SE buy at 1246 with SL just below 1240, and a SE sell at 1234 with SL just above 1240.

Excellent... let's see how they perform.

Perhaps the MMentum is indicating that 1234 will get filled first.

Something's going to happen soon...those medium term EMAs are pretty tight.

Howdy. I had a short limit order in gold at $1239 that just got triggered.  The stop loss is $1246 and take profit $1213.  I have a long stop entry at $1246 also, and a long limit order still in place at $1212.

Great Nathan...

These all seem to line up with the way I'm looking at price movements.

I like your TP target and limit order numbers.

Its good positioning for strategies other than HP strategies.

Just remember that these strategies require more skill and vigilance...

I'm wondering why the TP is below the 1215 support line rather than just above, where I have it at 1217 and a bit?

Oh thats just my months of experience kicking in Alan. It takes years to stoop to my level... 😆  .
Jokes aside.  I'm using $1211 as the lower end of the support band so put the TP at $1213 just above that

Alan... I think that 1213 is in the middle of my anticipated pullback zone of 1210 to 1215... so it looks good to my eyes

So, now I'm making profit on the short, should I close down the buy order or leave it in overnight?

Hi Alan. Im going to leave my SE buy order in.  Just in case there is another  drop in the S&P and gold has another push up.  What are your thoughts?
