A few weeks ago you and Paul were talking on a GAS session and you showed a chart that had HP's and the profit was roughly $1000 a month from 10 contracts of gold. I would like to kn ow the dates they made your HP checks?

Because I would like to go over them with the check list and see what you saw, and see if my eyes and biases are on the same page.

Clarification of checklist predictor

I explained this predictor in a webinar, but its meaning is clearer in the revision below:

MACD is coming from overbought/oversold as appropriate.

replaced by:

MACD line is coming from above zero for a short or from below zero for a long, implying it will cross the X axis.

Hello everyone

I've had a week or two where gas hasn't been a priority for me. I'm starting to look at it again but find myself a bit uncertain of how to approach reading the charts. Now that I am aware of so many different indicators and patterns, how do I chose which ones are more important that others? So my question is what is your process when this happens to you? How do you start to unravel the charts to understand what's going on after a break away?

Gold (2nd MACD bar): essential predictors = 2; total = 10

Silver (MACD crossover, no MACD bar): essentials = 1 (or ?weak 2) ; total = 11 or ?12

Two revised HP checklist criteria

I have revised the Slow Stochastic 7 - 10 day trend and RSI 7 - 10 day trend predictors as follows:

RSI is coming from overbought/oversold (as appropriate) or the overall 7-10 day trend is in the required direction.

SStoch is coming from overbought/oversold (as appropriate) or the overall 7-10 day trend is in the required direction.

Note there is no longer a 7-10 day time limit on overbought/oversold.
